Event Description

Flatpickers Brad Davis, Tim May and Dan Miller will conduct a hands-on, all-level flatpicking guitar workshop focused on improving right hand technique. Without good right hand technique a flatpicker's timing, tone, note clarity, and speed will suffer. In this workshop students will learn about right hand mechanics, run through exercises and drills aimed at improving right hand control, speed, and tone, and get direct feedback from the instructors. Additionally, subjects such as improvisation, song arrangement, and understanding the guitar's fingerboard will be discussed. Questions regarding other topics are welcome.
