Event Description

The Return Of David Grier

We are honored to welcome back this extraordinary guitarist for an evening house concert and an afternoon guitar clinic on Saturday Dec 5, 2009.

On 12/5/09 David Grier will conduct an afternoon guitar workshop from 3:00-5:00PM, and then perform a small house concert in our sunroom that evening starting at 8:00PM. The price for the workshop is $60/ticket, and the evening concert will be $25/ticket. For those attending both the workshop and the concert the combined price for both will be $75. Please note that all proceeds will be immediately and completely turned directly right over to the artist.

In addition, David has agreed to give private lessons to interested guitar students on Saturday afternoon preceding the workshop, as well as on the following Sunday morning 12/6 (advance reservations will be required for this…).

This is, of course, a unique opportunity to experience and to learn from one of the most exceptional guitarists in the world in a small and (hopefully) comfortable and pleasant setting. Our location is in Centerville DE near Chadds Ford, PA and Longwood Gardens. It is also convenient to Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Southern NJ. Seating will be quite limited and all seats are likely to sell out, so advance tickets are strongly recommended. To hear him play please see the links below.. For additional info please contact Steve Broitman at (302) 654-8306 or at sbroitman@wcupa.edu

been awhile since Jed asked the pick question, so probably doesn't care by now, but when i went to a Beppe workshop some years ago, he was using the Dunlop 500 (not the tortex, but the glossy model), pink one... .98 thickness.
