Hi Mondy,

Sorry.... Pines

IBMA annual meeting in Raleigh, NC

Houstenfest in Galax Va first weekend in May

Wayne Henderson's guitar contest, Grayson Highlands State Park, Va - 3rd Saturday in June, rain or shine

Winfield!  It's the Woodstock of Bluegrass festivals.  Why?  Because of the jamming in the campgrounds at night.  Especially in the Pecan Grove.  It get's a little wild but not too much.  To walk the camp grounds with a guitar or banjo, looking for a welcoming campfire to sit and jam, and making new friends...  It's the best.  But I guess I'm biased.  I live in Winfield.

We love Winfield and will be there in September!  Look for the Flatpicking Guitar Magazine booth.

Sorry, Mondy. I didn't realize who you were. I work at the Crafts check-in booth. I guess I've dealt more with Dan at the festival. Come by and say hello. I'm usually guarding the prize instruments. And by the way, I have learned more from Flatpicking Essentials Vol. 1 than from all my other guitar publications combined and I own quite a few. I plan on getting Vol. 2 & 3 this year.

Arthur Knowler replied to William Gray's discussion Heavy Picks Anyone?
