Flatpicking Guitar Network

For Fans of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine

I just found a couple of copies of this CD available for $35 each - is it worth it? Clarence and The Kentucky Colonels are one of my favorite bluegrass groups of all time. I have Appalachian Swing! and Livin' In The Past. Can anyone recommend or comment on any of the other CD's that are more readily available, such as Long Journey Home?

Any Kentucky Colonels fan must have "Long Journey Home".
- it's live at Newport in '64
- some great duos Doc & Clarence
- Bill Keith as guest (with his unforgettable Nola)

Perhaps less flatpicking solo than in Livin' In The Past (except Doc & Clarence !), ...., hey, I'm going to listen it again to night ! :^)

Thanks, Phillipe, I'll check it out/
Live In Stereo is a great Kentucky Colonels CD. It captures them at their peak around 1965 in a live performance with great sounding audio. Highly recommended.
