For Fans of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine

I love Lone Soldier, and Live at Lindas.. And I really like Phillips, Grier, Flinner .." Lookin Back " But every one of his recordings has personal favorites.
I will admit to thinking that His "America The Beautiful/Yesterday" is as moving guitar playing as I have heard. So simple but so, so, Grier .
Rite there with Tony's Shenendoah.
What are some of your favorites ?

Hi Bill.
David is a fantastic talent and respected by his peers as one of the very finest.
I saw him last year perform at a house concert and he is extremely versatile.
Glad you're in the club,
Les

I just * love *all of his cds.My favorite is the "I've got the House to myself"only because it's a guitar monologue the ultimate flatpicking guitar cd of his,but If i had to choose one, that would be "Freewheeling",just because he plays with a band, using his '55 D-18!

I really like Daves work on Matt Flinners first cd. Every cd he's on is great because he never does the same thing twice.

Steve, my office is across the street from Dusty Strings in Seattle and it turns out they have a D18GE in stock. I had not even noticed it but picked it up. The neck takes some getting used to (or probably for me the bigger adjustment is tied to a 1…

So what you are talking about here Jon, is not what I started the thread for( but it IS a nice aside!) You NEED to know what your humidity is at in your house were your axe lives. That is what the Hygrometer is for. There are all kinds of threads ev…

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case. It's works really well and fits perfectly…
