Dang...scored on this one... Marcy and Wil! thanks for the tip Marcy. I'm off to Winfield in the morning. Just gettin over a nasty cat bite to the right middle and index primary joints. It punctured the joint capsule so I feel fortunate to be be playing this soon...at all! Wish me luck
Peace and good pickin

Hi Marcy - thanks for the invite. Hope to be sharing tips and stories with you all soon. I'm a beginner flatpicker. Every time I add a new fiddle tune to my repertoire, I jump and shout. (Yee Haw!)

Hi Marcy, Thanks for asking me to join you gals.

Busy right now getting ready for a gig on Saturday, I'm playing at Horse Cave Heritage Festival, 10.30 a.m.
My group consists of Dave Foster, on fiddle and guitar; Jim Hurst, guitar; and me on guitar and mandolin.
This is the ninth year for the festival, and I have played it every year so far! Hope I can still make it next year, and that no horses throw me or stomp on me in the mean time.

Hazel.

Any Carbon Acoustic Guitar enthusiast here?

My first Carbon was an Adamas.I currently play a Rainsong Dred.I discovered carbon Guitars 2 years ago in a local Guitar store and purchased one within a month.  I played my first RainSong Dred about a year later and bought that one.I watched Scott Nygards reviews on you tube and that kinda got me searching.Anyone else play the fakes?See More

"I have settled on the BlueChip CT55. The BlueChip picks play very smooth and fast, with little pick noise. By the way, I use their thumb picks as well- best I've ever used."
