The Flatpicking Camp and Americana Music fest enter a new chapter with the move to The Rafting Company next year ..The intimacy of The Bend will be hard to recreate , but the ability to host pickers onsite, with full hookup sites , and a top quality RV Park on the banks of the Beautiful Upper Meramec will add dimensions you wont find anywhere .. even Walnut Valley .. I intend to bring the same hi quality entertainment , and incredible picking workshops and jamming that everyone is used to, and add the convenience of not having to leave..
I hope you will bear with me as we sort out the details , and I look forward to seeing you back next year !

Instructors will include Tim May and Dan Miller giving their World Famous Flatpicking Guitar and Mando Improvisation Workshop .

2011 Winfield National Flatpicking Champion Andrew Hatfield giving Guitar and Mandolin workshops
Hen House Prowler Guitarist Eric Lambert giving a Picking The Dead , and a Bluegrass Guitar Solos workshops
Minnesotas Finest Mike Cramer giving an Understanding The Fingerboard , and a Mandolin workshop
Wil Maring and Robert Bowlin , with workshops tbd..
We will also feature Tony Anthonisen hosting 2 medium Tempo fiddle tune jams..
Thursday will start the Fest off with a Workshop tbd, and a Hosted Jam Session .
Fridays concert will be a Dan Miller hosted Pickathon .
Saturday will feature Wil and Robert , and The Special Consensus BlueGrass Band ..
We will have packages available , including camping and meals.. -
