Glad to be a part of this group as well. Tony Rice is one of my favorites. Ever heard of Sam Bush? Dumb question, I know. He's got a "Sam Bush TV" thing and he mentions Mr. Rice while discussing Ole Hoss and his other instruments. It's pretty cool, take a look at it: http://www.sambush.com/SBTV

Tony Rice is to bluegrass what Eric Clapton is to blues-based rock. And they both so far surpassed their respective genres as to be uncategorizable except as arguably our two greatest living guitar players.

This man is just absolutely amazing. I think it is crazy how he has his own style and people(including me) still try to master it. Its funny to me, you have flatpicking, bluegrass and then you have this whole other realm called ," Rice style" picking. He has created his own genre of music and its hard to beat his stuff.

Any Carbon Acoustic Guitar enthusiast here?

My first Carbon was an Adamas.I currently play a Rainsong Dred.I discovered carbon Guitars 2 years ago in a local Guitar store and purchased one within a month.  I played my first RainSong Dred about a year later and bought that one.I watched Scott Nygards reviews on you tube and that kinda got me searching.Anyone else play the fakes?See More
