Hello Everybody,

Hi everyone from southwest Germany.
Anyone attending Bühl Bluegrass Festival (May 14/15)? I'll be there, and I most certainly will bring a guitar (or two :)

Hi Non U.S. Flatpickers...Great to join your group, I live in the Republic of Ireland, Co.Westmeath to be exact. I have had an interest in Bluegrass for over 30 yrs and have gotten back into it in a big way in the last 4-5 years. Its great also to discover more Irish players in the Flatpicking group. Looking forward to making contact with more of you in the Non U.S. group.

Just a word to all non U.S flatpickers...anyone who will be attending the Athy, Co. Kildare, Bluegrass Festival in July, My little band Bending the Strings are playing the festival on the Friday night, ( we play what we call honky tonk bluegrass )its bluegrass with 5 string banjo, acoustic guitar and piano, with solos from all 3 instruments, its not PURE BLUEGRASS in the true sense but it works really well and is a gas to play. We were hoping to get a jam session on the Saturday afternoon, so if any of you are attending we might get a jam in together on the Sat. Looking forward to seeing some of you then. Vinny

HELLO EVERYBODY as founder and administrator of this group I should be posting more often....I know, my fault...but I am really glad to see you continue to join and to appreciate this little effort.
I am happy to see that Europeans are many...so we could all meet one day somewhere....who knows......

Any Carbon Acoustic Guitar enthusiast here?

My first Carbon was an Adamas.I currently play a Rainsong Dred.I discovered carbon Guitars 2 years ago in a local Guitar store and purchased one within a month.  I played my first RainSong Dred about a year later and bought that one.I watched Scott Nygards reviews on you tube and that kinda got me searching.Anyone else play the fakes?See More
