Tell us more about yourself (place a Bio here if you wish)
I've been playing for nearly 50yrs. Started as a young laddie at the age of 7 yrs.Played in a lot if different groups over the years. I attribute all my experience to my Father who played and Bobby Hicks as an uncle. It's in my blood in other words. My father promoted bluegrass shows all over and my favorite was the Thanksgiving shows at Myrtle beach. I had the the honor to meet all the greats back then such as Jim & Jesse mcReynolds, Sonny & Bobby Osbourne, Tony Rice in his prime and all the others. I am delighted to find a group like this to share experience and gratitude for the music.

Any Carbon Acoustic Guitar enthusiast here?

My first Carbon was an Adamas.I currently play a Rainsong Dred.I discovered carbon Guitars 2 years ago in a local Guitar store and purchased one within a month.  I played my first RainSong Dred about a year later and bought that one.I watched Scott Nygards reviews on you tube and that kinda got me searching.Anyone else play the fakes?See More

Stephen Switzer replied to Daniel J Thomack's discussion picks
"I have settled on the BlueChip CT55. The BlueChip picks play very smooth and fast, with little pick noise. By the way, I use their thumb picks as well- best I've ever used."
