Tell us more about yourself (place a Bio here if you wish)
I started playing guitar when I was about 10yrs. old in good old WV at a local music store. My grandmother bought me a old Harmony guitar at a flea market for $25 and hooked me up with a teacher named Bobby Maynard from Huntington.
I have done a lot as far as music in my now 33yrs on this earth and hope to acomplish a lot more and never quit learning from the greats!
I have sense gone from a 10yr old boy learning from a good teacher to being the founder of the Southwest Indiana Bluegrass Association and playing in as many bands as folks will let me play with them.

been awhile since Jed asked the pick question, so probably doesn't care by now, but when i went to a Beppe workshop some years ago, he was using the Dunlop 500 (not the tortex, but the glossy model), pink one... .98 thickness.
