Hey Brian,
I basically teach students to learn to play economically with their fingers and hands and use good posture. I charge $30/hr with a 2 hr. minimum. I can teach 1, 2, 3, or 4 hr lessons. Usually if the student plays already, I will pick along and point out trouble spots and methods of dealing with correcting them. I'm by no means an expert, but I have developed alot of methods that help the average flatpicker...starting with rhythm. Most folks really struggle with rhythm, even if they think they are good at it. If your boom-chucking most of your rhythm, I can help. Call me (503) 730-0005

Yeah ! We are playing very little shows at this time ! We are currently working on our Debeut CD ! HURRAY ! called " All UNCUT" Which we
have the majority of Origionals ! Pretty cool tunes ! From "October Groove" a slower tempo tune with a little swing to "Dawg Tired" a
sweet mid range Tune , To a Blistering Tempo Tune of "Dawg Night",
Adding some of our singing Origionals as well: Which will be good to have: New Tune Bruce Wrote called "Don't Break Down on me" ! in B minor ! Really nice arrangement..... That is all for now !
Olen has my Brazilian Dread Done ! Awesome Sound as with all his Guitars !
Glad to hear from you ! hope to see you soon !

Brian,

Thanks for joining the flatpicking network. I'll be adding more music, videos, and photos as time goes by. If there is anything in particular that you'd like to see, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks,

Dan

Steve, my office is across the street from Dusty Strings in Seattle and it turns out they have a D18GE in stock. I had not even noticed it but picked it up. The neck takes some getting used to (or probably for me the bigger adjustment is tied to a 1…

Sorry to get a little off topic :-( I realized it once I clicked the Add Reply button.. I like what you said about being able to afford a 20 Dollar Hygrometer... if you can spend 4 grand on a box.. and you can't spend the little bit of money on the…

So what you are talking about here Jon, is not what I started the thread for( but it IS a nice aside!) You NEED to know what your humidity is at in your house were your axe lives. That is what the Hygrometer is for. There are all kinds of threads ev…

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case. It's works really well and fits perfectly…
