Tell us more about yourself (place a Bio here if you wish)
I'm from Scotland and became a guitar-head in Luxembourg around 2001 when I got a Lakewood M14. I'd played before that but had got stale. I play a mixture of trad Scots/Irish, folk and pop. I play fingerstyle and like a lot of McManus and McMeen tunes. I also enjoy flatpicking with dem dare Tortis Picks and like the Kaufman PLP series and everything that Beppe plays. I also like playing Bert Jansch type folky stuff and knocking out a bit of Bowie, Floyd, etc. Listening wise I enjoy most things except MOR and soft rock.
"Hello David, sorry for the late reply - I had not visited this site for years. Unfortunately, I do not have tabs for Man of Constant Sorrow - the video you saw was recorded by somebody who had requested me to teach them the song - I only played it…"
I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
