My name is Chalmers Croft. I am a 23 year old picker from Shelby, NC. I currently live in Charlotte NC and am looking to help form or join an aspiring newgrass band. I have been playing guitar since six. I went to music school temporarily at WCU and ended up graduating from Appalachian State University. My primary style is newgrass flatpicking but I also play everything from jazz to chickin piickin. I have an instrumental album on Itunes called "Yesterdays". It is entirely self-produced and features 8 original tracks and 2 covers. The mandolinist is Tommy Norris from the "Barefoot Movement". Check out my stuff online and send me a message if you are interested in networking!

Norman's Preferences

I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
