hey dale, one of the great things about this network is finding out that there are other flatpicking enthusiasts in the area. my wife has a sister that lives in morrilton and another in russelville. we should try to pick sometime. i have a fairly regular jam at my house on tuesday nightsif that is ever an option for you. i also play with some folks in nw ark occasionally and sometimes perform with my daughter Shannon Wurst. check her out at shannonwurst.com or at her my myspace. hope we get to share some tunes sometime soon. ed

Sounds Great. I agree the price for a whole week is very reasonable my only hitch is the time. I am not "old" by any stretch of the imagination (38) but It seems things have hit overdrive in the last 5 years and I have a hard time not feeling guilty about a week off for "me time" when there is so much to do. I am however fortunate enough to be close to Springfield to make a weekend seminar doable. I would love to a least meet him and pick his brain about a few ideas and hear what a Three Time Winfield winner sounds like unplugged

No, I haven't been to any of his Kamps, the week long thing is hard to do since I have a wife and four kids. I DID see that he is in Springfield, MO for weekend camps and would like to attend one of those (I think in November). I think he is a very gifted communicator and would love to go, Have you been any or many?
I too like the J-45, my dad has one that I was fortunate enough to learn on for a few years; great neck and sweet sound.
Thanks for noticing a fellow Arkie, do you get around the Northwest Area much?
