I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case.
It's works really well and fits perfectly…

Thanks for letting me know about this site.
I fly out this Sunday for fingerpicking kamp and will see you next week for the flatpicking kamp. Hope you notice an improvement in my picking. I've been trying to practice every monmet I have free time. Have a good trip to kamp. I'm looking forward to picking with you.
