- Been playing Acoustic guitar since 1974, and have always enjoy playing Bluegrass. I'm not all that good, but I still enjoy playing guitar. For me, guitar playing is good for my mental health.
I enjoy acustic guitar music that pushes the envelope. Traditional bluegrass seems a little old and dated. Not against it mind you, but just enjoy hearing new tunes, new licks, new chord progressions etc.
I am not a Snob when it comes to equipment. I once felt I needed some brand name instrument, but I've had them, and I'ved had Non Brand name gear. Both have good models, but the bottom line is, does your instrument sound and play the way YOU like it too sound and play? If it does, then keep it. If not, then you need to keep looking.

To My ear, it makes it ring.......sweetly but I have the V for vintage,,,they forward shifted the bracing as well.
