Tell us more about yourself (place a Bio here if you wish)
I am a music journalist and photographer whose work appears in Fretboard Journal, FGM, Bluegrass Unlimited, Mandolin Magazine, Acoustic Guitar, along with past work for Frets, Pickin', Mandolin World News, etc. I love using my writing and photography skills to further the careers of the musicians I admire.

As a musician, I've played and recorded with Indiana based groups including County Line, Playing With Fire, the Circle City Slickers, Hot Club of Naptown and many more. I love playing live gigs - it's the only place I truly feel alive. I also write very strong original material in a variety of styles that I'm working at getting out to the music industry now.

Hi Djavo, jeff white here. Good to see you again. I'm trying to organize a flatpick workshop in southern Indiana with possible evening gig somewhere and wondered if you had any idea of where in the Bloomington area I might do this. I might do a flatpick/ fingerpick workshop and bring my friend Sean Weaver(chet stylist) or maybe do combo guitar/fiddle workshop and bring Mike Cleveland. Any thoughts(looking at maybe early January. Take care dave, Jeff

Hi David.
I hope you're doing well. I have a good souvenir of a jam 2 years ago at IBMA, Proulx's room (more easy to write than to say :^)).
The Hot Club Of Naptown is in my CD car player - Did you know you can be heard in Pigalle, where Django started to play ? :^).

Greetings, new good buddy Dave! Now all we have to do is actually meet, although your guitar prowess precedes you (and intimates me)!

Howdy Dave! Enjoying my time pickin' again. It had been a while. See you at Bean Blossom? Kind of a toss up between Bean and fest of BG in Lexington which I have never been to. Hope all is well.
