I play cittern rather than guitar
Tell us more about yourself (place a Bio here if you wish)
I've been playing traditional music since I was a kid, first on guitar, then I built a cittern in 69 or 70, which fell apart. I got another one a few years later, but in the meantime, learned mandolin, tenor banjo and bass. I play a lot of early classical music, too, but everything I do has a rock feel.

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case. It's works really well and fits perfectly…
