- Well just turned 51, and have been playing off and on for a while. Taught myself how to play Back when I was in the Marine Corps. Just started Music theory and how to read it. Been playing by ear for the most part, or books with the music already transposed. Played with a church choir When I was over seas. Wife decided to pick up playing the Fiddle, so i wanted to help her out and we could play together.
