Hi Greg.. it's been 5 years since I bought "Solo Guitar", and when I saw you on the member list here, I had to pull it out and play it again. And I only now realized you even wrote a "Thank you" note on the inside sleeve! I guess I'm a little slow . I've gotten a lot of enjoyment from your music, keep up the good work!
Hi again Greg - Really enjoying the new CD, thanks for letting me know about that (well, actually, the mp3's - it was a tough call to get the actual CD or just mp3's, but I just did the download purchase). I had not heard some of these tunes before -- and it's so different from your "Solo Guitar" CD, with all the other instruments and singing -- I give it 2 thumbs up!
Hello Greg. It's been a while. I see you have done well in Tuscon and I must say I always knew if you kept at it you would rise above mediocrity. Just want to say hello and let you (and Randal) know that I am well. Email me if you want. I'll add you as a friend because you always were. (Remember Wakiki and when Don Ho got under his desk to take a phone call when we played? Man, was life good. Still is.) Take care and my next message will be shorter so as not to drag on like a poor flat picker.
I'd love to got to The Wintergrass Festival since I've never attended but it sounds like fun. I will try and plan my vacation time for next year.
I'd especially love to have the chance to pick with you. Sandy Rothman was nice enough to send me
a copy of your Bluegrass Guitar Duets CD and I've listened and thoroughly enjoyed it every day during my commute to and from work. Steve, you have such a nice smooth style and in the tradition of Clarence White, my primary influence. I wish we could get together and pick someday soon !
Let me know if your ever in the Tucson AZ area.

"Hello David, sorry for the late reply - I had not visited this site for years. Unfortunately, I do not have tabs for Man of Constant Sorrow - the video you saw was recorded by somebody who had requested me to teach them the song - I only played it…"
I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
