Greg, did you take the finish off the neck yourself? I did the same to my Monteleone about a week after I got it...

Hi - That would be great but right now my plan is to arrive on Sunday - about time for teacher orientation. However... if for some reason plans change, we could meet there on Saturday. If it looks like a possibility, I'll contact you.

Hi, Greg. Thanks for getting in touch. Glad I had a chance to meet you and pick a few at Peaceful Bend. It was a great time--wonderful music, food and company. Hope to see you there again next year. Keep on pickin', and get in touch if you ever make it down to the Twin City area in Minnesota.

Greg,
I'm interested. Do you have any pictures? Is it a deep v or modified? 1 3/4 nut?
Thanks,
TS

You will love your D1A varnish. It will open up quickly and sound great.
I think varnish does a lot more for mahogany guitars than rosewood guitars. Enjoy!

In my humble abilities I have been fortunate enough to use some great picks on guitars that I do not deserve. I have several tortoise shells that dear friends gave me long ago. They are like playing with a fingernail and even shape to your fingers...
