It's been a year since I competed last so I decided I would give it a try at the Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree guitar contest. I was better prepared this year but still let the nerves get the best of me. My buddy Eric Beatty video taped the contest…

Only a month (roughly to Kamp). I think I remember you saying that you won't be there for the whole week but may stop by for some jamming. That right? I hope I get to see you and we get to play some. I've worked on some new stuff this year, and it was actually a pretty productive year guitar-wise. I also forgot a lot of the old stuff (or, am rusty at least). But, I'm looking forward to kamp very much.

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case.
It's works really well and fits perfectly…
Really nice. Great to see someone slowing down and being tasty.
I have to admit I do like D'addarios, once I get my callouses back I may move up to ej17's
