Hi Jason; Yes will be here for sure so give me a call at the office 314-726-2107. The best time is over next weekend on Saturday or Sunday. I have a guitar buddy coming over on Sunday to help me photograph some of my guitars for an upcoming book. Let me know how your schedule shakes out. Dave

Hi Jason, good to hear from you. The check in for the instrument builders is at 2pm on Sunday, so I will be areound then and every day after that! My observation from last year is that those guys worked 10-12 hours per day to get done in the five day window. I may need your woodworking skills to bail me out! Look forward to seeing you there, Dave

Hi Jason, great to hear from you. Lynne and I will be at Rocky Grass although I am building an instrument this year and I noticed that those guys spent at least 12 hours per day on instrument building last year. Would like to see you and Tara while we are out there, and of course, come by when you are "in the neighborhood", Best, David

Yes I have, that can be good and bad. But, I'm happy, healthy and love to pick, that's pretty much all that really matters.
I spent some time in Estes Park, Colorado in the early 70's. We had a bluegrass band and played at the Chalet on Mary's Lake Rd. That was cool.

Thanks for the add.

Steve, my office is across the street from Dusty Strings in Seattle and it turns out they have a D18GE in stock. I had not even noticed it but picked it up. The neck takes some getting used to (or probably for me the bigger adjustment is tied to a 1…

Sorry to get a little off topic :-( I realized it once I clicked the Add Reply button.. I like what you said about being able to afford a 20 Dollar Hygrometer... if you can spend 4 grand on a box.. and you can't spend the little bit of money on the…

So what you are talking about here Jon, is not what I started the thread for( but it IS a nice aside!) You NEED to know what your humidity is at in your house were your axe lives. That is what the Hygrometer is for. There are all kinds of threads ev…

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case. It's works really well and fits perfectly…
