Father's Day weekend in CA...

Just heading back home from a weekend in CA. Father's Day Fest in Grass Valley (missed Dan Miller -he was in VA), and Huck Finn Jubilee in Victorville. Disappointed that the Roy Rogers Museum has been moved from Victorville to Branson, MO. Happy to have seen Paige Anderson (hope you're feeling better Paige), heard Molly Tuttle and the Tuttle band, and visited with my buddy Mike Wilhoyte, always a good time. Also good to hear the Grascals and nice to hear Sawmill Road and Blue and Lonesome.

Jim,
Just wanted to say "hello". Hope all is well with you, Judy and the family. It's been a while since we talked and solved "all the problems of the world"! Missed you at IBMA. I got there Thursday and left on Monday. Had a great time but missed the CLB this year. Heard Missy and the "New Hip". Hope that's just something she has to get out of her system!!! Guess it was alright for what it was! Checked your schedule from the web site and don't see you coming to Virginia any time soon. Hope y'all can get back over this way some time in the near future. Take care and have a good Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Love to Judy. Stay in touch.

Hey Jim,
Thanks for the phone call. I hope you made it home safely and your doing well. Thanks for the right hand tips. I'll keep you in the loop on some of my goals and how I'm doing toward them in the future. All my best. Steve

Hi Jim,

It was nice seeing you at IBMA. Sorry we did not get a chance to pick, but my sister Aimee, my Dad, and I was able to see your set with Claire Lynch, and we really enjoyed it :-)

Hopefully next time we can play a few tunes!

Jim: You may not remember me, but I interviewed you over the telephone about five years ago for a feature on Huss and Dalton I was writing. The article was never finished, due to some life-changing events, and I learned recently that you're endorsing Rockbridge guitars, anyway! Are you and Missy ever going to come and play New York?

Best wishes.

Hi Jim!

Hope all is well.

I hope we'll be able to stop by and see you showcase, we'll look at the schedule to see when and where it's at.

Take care and see you at IBMA!

I enjoy your playing a lot. I got to play a Rockbridge a few weeks back and I can see why you are playing one now. It was quite a guitar.

One thing I love of your playing style is that you are a great flatpicker and finger picker. Your touch is elegant and powerful.

Hope to see you again in Italy

Steve, my office is across the street from Dusty Strings in Seattle and it turns out they have a D18GE in stock. I had not even noticed it but picked it up. The neck takes some getting used to (or probably for me the bigger adjustment is tied to a 1…

Sorry to get a little off topic :-( I realized it once I clicked the Add Reply button.. I like what you said about being able to afford a 20 Dollar Hygrometer... if you can spend 4 grand on a box.. and you can't spend the little bit of money on the…

So what you are talking about here Jon, is not what I started the thread for( but it IS a nice aside!) You NEED to know what your humidity is at in your house were your axe lives. That is what the Hygrometer is for. There are all kinds of threads ev…

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case. It's works really well and fits perfectly…
