A Different Tuner/Nut Question

This could've been posted with the other nut/tuner topic, but it is slightly different. I have a 1994 Martin HD-35. It's got those locking tuners that Martin was using about that time, and I'm pretty sure micarta nut and saddle. The strings have been pinging when tuning, and I want to get rid of the micarta. "Yeah, I'll look into him. I went to a jam this past weekend, and the consensus for a teacher was Ron McKeever. I gave him a call and left a voicemail. So we'll see where it goes from there."

Bluegrass Music - Town Mountain - Free Live Stream Fri May 17th, 8pm
