- I love the guitar, but I am more of a freestyle finger picker, rhythm and such than a flatpicker, but they need back up..
I live in southern MO, so I have my choice of music venues to visit and listen to great music,,I have been playing since I was 5/6 up in Michigan where I was born and raised..My Dad is a flat picker...loved the old tunes, hear something he liked and worked on it till he had it..I am the same way..I'm hear to learn from the best...thanks

My first blog...
Hello, really don't know where to begin...
I started to strum the guitar around 5/6 yrs old...
My dear old dad picks the guitar, the banjo, and played a mean accordian..
He doesn't seam interested in it any more, so I have now his guitar, the banjo and the accordian...
I can strum the banjo, and do pretty good on the guitar, I have no clue about the accordian...save for
making enough noise to make the animals run and hide...LOL
