- Our band The LOG plays old Stanley sound with the Lead Guitar. I myself prefare playing lead guitar, especialy crosspicking, as a backup while others are singing. I used to try play melody all the time.

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case.
It's works really well and fits perfectly…
