Hi Mickey, Many thanks for picking up the chairs; sorry to burden you with that, In many ways, that was a fantastic weekend and I certainly plan to attend again next year. My lesson with Brian was really good--focused on both right and left hand technique. He is not only a fine player but an excellent teacher. I can show you the basic recommendations whenever you have time (arm motion versus wrist, angle of pick, followthrough etc all leading to better tone). Left hand focus on lining up knuckles parallel to the strings with a more "clawlike" finger position and proper angle of elbow, arm and wrist on the left side. If you have time, come over on Saturday or Sunday to pick--give me at call at home if it fits your program.
Sunday will work fine; I am having temporary cell phone problems, so give a call on the home phone number. Dogs are normally the champs when it comes to unconditional love, so if you have worn them out, you need to get out of the house!
