Hi Mitch, Steve Kilby here. We met at Kaufman Kamp and jammed a bit one night. I'm interested in starting some webcam lessons and was wondering if you'd fill me in on how you do them. I have a webcam but do you use Skyp or what? And I'm not sure I know how to start that, I need a neighbor kid to set it up for me.

The new Corbin D-21 style arrived today. It is a wonderful example of great woods and flawless building techniques. Thanks for all your efforts. I really appreciate it.

Dear Flatpicking Champion Mitch:

I have been working on your "hiding the metronome" exercise. I hid it first under the couch and then in a closet, but that doesn't seem to help my flatpicking skill at all. Is there another technique I should try?

Befuddled in Iowa...

Seriously - difficult is not the word, Thanks! When are you going to send me one of your guitars to test? Still using Carpathian spruce?

Are you interested in a mando instructor? I get a lot of calls but have no time for lessons. I can only do it all at once...

Hi Mitch,

Thanks for all the help. I spend lots of time on the Open E Patterns. Once I can play these at about 140, my little finger should be strong enough to play any of them both in the Open and Closed position. Great Instructor. I just downloaded Skype so I'm thinking about it.
