"Just joined the club! I have a Martin DXK2AE Koa body. The only thing I didn't like about it when I bought it was the battery was in a little bag inside the guitar and with my big mitts I needed to take the strings off to replace that battery.…"

My name is Paige Anderson and I'm from Grass Valley CA. I play guitar with my family band, Anderson Family Bluegrass. There's my Mom on bass, Dad on banjo, my sister Aimee (13) on fiddle, my brother Ethan (10) on mandolin, and my little sister Daisy (8) on little fiddle (she's learning dobro too), and me on guitar, and sometimes clawhammer banjo. Thanks for joining the network. I look forward to seeing you at Grass Valley, and so do Emily and Sara. I'm not going to have a booth this year, so maybe we can find some time to pick a few together!
I'll see you there. Say "hi" to your mom and dad for me!
Yeah, I'll be at Grass Valley. Can't wait to hear what you're doing now...It would be wonderful to pick with you. I'm ready for another flatpicking lesson from you!
Kathy Barwick was fantastic with Mountain Laurel up at Strawberry...it rained and rained...Grass Valley will be wonderful. I'm on Frank Solivan's Kid's on Stage team this year!!!!! yeah! see you up there!
Boy do you play guitar...you're one of my favorite flatpickers! You and Molly Tuttle picking on a park bench had my total attention. What main stage did I need to go to...I was getting a major lesson just watching you gals pick. You make me so proud!

"My gear is much better than my skill - for straight flatpickin', I play a Martin D-18 Authentic 1937. My go-to guitar for just about everything else (and it flatpicks just fine, thank you) is my Huss & Dalton D-RH with a Red Spruce top.…"
"Hey Craig. Thanks for the kind comment. The credit for this version should really go To Steve Kaufman who's arrangement it is. Good luck with your bluegrass studies, it's wonderful music and great fun to play. I look forward to…"
"Thanks Mike. I have to prove to myself that I can play the material as written but once I've done that I start to allow myself some leeway to have fun and drop in my own bits. There's not too much space to do that in SK's version of…"
