Played Guitar and sang for fourty years but only been picking for two. Retired and lots of time to practice. Totally enjoy Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp and the many new people I have met

Hi Rick, good to see you here. Are you still buzzing after Kamp, have you kept up the practice routine? Cathal

Hi Cathal,

It took me awhile to recover. Yes, I have been practicing the G patterns and Chris Newman's finger exercises. The little finger is starting to come down. I also graphically did Kathy Barwick and John Goldie's chord system. I will send it to you along with the signed instructor photo.

When I got to the airport, I was told to attach my gig bag to my main luggage. I interlocked both, then interlock them together with the TSA luggage cable. It was gone when I got to Boston. It couldn't fall off so it was stolen. I filed a claim. I'll get a new bag next year. I'll have my brother take it home with him for the next year. I'll be going the first week next year and so will my brother.

I saw you up on Flatpick-L but after a few days, I stopped getting it. Half the items they talk about don't belong on there. The 50-100 email a day took to long to go through. Did you get to see all the Kamp pictures that some people took?

I'm going to head over to my email and send you the information.

Great Heading from you
Rick

Great hearing from you.

You have to excuse any mistakes, I just a colonoscopy this morning and it takes 24 hours for sedation medicine to wear off.

Arthur Knowler replied to William Gray's discussion Heavy Picks Anyone?
"I have a left handed Blue Chip TAD 3R 40 pick and I find it a great pick to use, no scraping and quick on the strings. The only problem is that the tone is quite bass-y which is great for lead picking or Mandolin but not so good for rhythm…"
