Tell us more about yourself (place a Bio here if you wish)
I have been playing guitar now for more than a decade, all styles that sound good to me. Started with the basic three chord cry in your beer type stuff and then moved on to Eric Clapton unplugged arrangments, SRV, Classic rock, back to country. Working on bluegrass now for about a year and very passonate about it. Normally play about two to three hours per day or until my fingers start to cramp. I play mostly by myself and sometimes with friends when the timing is right. Have a jam man loop machine so it helps to record the rythyms on it and play solo's to myself. Sometimes it is very entertaining! Looking into starting up the video thing and try to help people if I can online or private tapings if requested, still in the planning stages.

Hey Todd;
Thx for yr message...great to hear from McP fans. I've now had my MG4.0XP 3 years...I bougt it from Danny Brevard at APM in Lufkin Tx. Woods are Adirondack top/Wavy Mahogany b&s. I have it setup with light Elixirs and very low action and although the tone is a killer I find volume a bit lacking. It's great for fingerstyle and DADGAD but I'm doing more flatpicking now with it. I did a workshop with Jim Nunally a few months ago and we compared guitars and Jim suggested medium Elixirs and the tall saddle next string change to get some more ooomph. How about you? What style(s) are you into?
cheers

That Bourgeois Vintage OM is my favorite guitar. The response is so good and tone so good that somehow it always inspires me to play better!
