Favorite Flatpicking Tunes
There are so many beautiful tunes. For listening, I love David Grier's I've Got The House To Myself album. I love to play Whiskey Before Breakfast and Bury Me Beneath The Willow.
I have a Taylor 710ce and a Martin 00-17 that I love.

I'm an actor. When I went to acting school (many years ago), they told us we had to learn to play a musical instrument; so I started learning to play the guitar. I was a fingerpicker for decades, although I had to learn to use a flatpick a bit for a couple of productions of Pump Boys And Dinettes that I've done. I decided I really needed to learn to flatpick only about a year ago, and I'm working on the Flatpicking Essentials course. I really love it, even though, like most I guess, I have moments of despair!
"Hello David, sorry for the late reply - I had not visited this site for years. Unfortunately, I do not have tabs for Man of Constant Sorrow - the video you saw was recorded by somebody who had requested me to teach them the song - I only played it…"
I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
