Ah... I forgot about your HD. That's a killer! Actually, I remember Mike's 21 being a pretty amazing guitar. My Martin has been banished to the closet... in Mass. It plays well and sounds ok... if you're alone in a quiet room. Someday we'll trade it toward something good!

I've been using Red Bear picks since the end of last year... I can't use anything else now!!

Hope we get to pick sometime soon!

Favorite Flatpickers
This is hard. I'm more of a rhythm player myself, so I guess I pay more attention to that when listening to guitar players. I feel the only way to have a successful Bluegrass band is to have a great rhythm guitar player. So, I would have to say that some of my favorite guitar players are Del McCoury, Tony Rice and Dan Tyminski.
Favorite Flatpicking Tunes
I like pickin' Big Sandy River and Rebecca right now.
Favorite Guitars
1957 D-21 Martin and 1979 HD-28 Martin

I'm the leader and Rhythm guitar player for Acoustic Blue. I do play lead as well, but not a whole lot. I pride myself in my solid bluegrass style rhythm playing. The band is really making a name for itself and really starting to take off. Check out our website or myspace page at myspace.com/acousticblueonline if you get the chance.

I'm proud to be endorsing Red Bear Picks. Check our Dave's site at www.redbeartrading.com or here in the Red Bear Picks page. I'm also endorsing Italia Leather Straps. You can check out their web site at www.italiastraps.com.

Any Carbon Acoustic Guitar enthusiast here?

My first Carbon was an Adamas.I currently play a Rainsong Dred.I discovered carbon Guitars 2 years ago in a local Guitar store and purchased one within a month.  I played my first RainSong Dred about a year later and bought that one.I watched Scott Nygards reviews on you tube and that kinda got me searching.Anyone else play the fakes?See More
