Hi Sheldon, I Have a big Baby Taylor guitar. I like my guitar because of its tone and its loud and ringing. Out of your favorite tunes i know how to play, Whiskey before breakfast, Wildwood flower, and liberty. My favorite songs are Lonesome fiddle blues, RagTime annie, d-minor swing, devils dream, cooleys reel, and Mom And Dads Waltz. I know how to play all these too. I am on youtube.com also, you can go there and type in jr3316. My dad is a guitar teacher and a state champion flatpicker, He taught me all i know. Casey
The only problem if you can call it that is that I can't put it down. Can I embed a photo?
People who have heard me play my whole life have commented that since I got this guitar I sound better. Dont ask me how, but thats what they say. I like Taylors because I have never heard a 'dead spot', and I've heard them on lots of others. Including Martins.
Thanks for commenting.
See where you live in Dadeville. I used to play with Clyde Mcmasters back in the 70's. As I recall he played the fiddle.Just wonder if any Mcmasters still live there?
I am 67 now so Clyde would be in his 70's or 80's .
Not sure how all this works just yet, just joined the group.Hope to hear from you.
"Hello David, sorry for the late reply - I had not visited this site for years. Unfortunately, I do not have tabs for Man of Constant Sorrow - the video you saw was recorded by somebody who had requested me to teach them the song - I only played it…"
I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
