I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case.
It's works really well and fits perfectly…

I have to admit I do like D'addarios, once I get my callouses back I may move up to ej17's

I still keep in mind a jam at Proulx's room IBMA a few years ago with you and Alan Shadd. Great souvenir. I've recently read the new Clarence White book from Roland for which you participate. It looks very interesting, I'm going to buy it. Thanx to be me my friend. I hope to flatpick with you again, somewhere between Paris France and San Francisco CA
