Terry, I just got back from Kaufman's Kamp last Sunday. It was my third year to attend. It is easily the best music week of the year for me. I hope to go back next year, and many more after that. I grew up in the 2400 block of 8th street and my brother lives at 10th and McGoveny. He plays bass and guitar. Small world.

Hi Terry,

I still have family in Ironton and visit a couple times each year. Maybe we could be together sometime and pick a few. My parents live by the old hospital - has it been demolished yet?. Take Care, Bob Miller

Terry: If you ever over this way and looking for someplace to pick, give me a holler. There are a couple good jams here every so often, and there is a saturday morning session at the guitar store in waverly.

HI Terry,

Great to hear from a namesake. I too have started to work on flatpicking later in life. Someday maybe we could meet and jam. I'll be at Kaufman Kamp for flatpicking week. If you're in the neighborhood stop by and say hi!

Steve, my office is across the street from Dusty Strings in Seattle and it turns out they have a D18GE in stock. I had not even noticed it but picked it up. The neck takes some getting used to (or probably for me the bigger adjustment is tied to a 1…

So what you are talking about here Jon, is not what I started the thread for( but it IS a nice aside!) You NEED to know what your humidity is at in your house were your axe lives. That is what the Hygrometer is for. There are all kinds of threads ev…

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case. It's works really well and fits perfectly…
