We're practically neighbors. I'm in Siler. We get together for some informal jams from time to time. Check out our website and drop me an email.

Hey Todd,
Seeing that I just read this message and it is December 9th, one would guess I haven't been around the boards much lately! Thanks for the comments on the website. We have had some difficulty with it as of late and it is currently offline and getting ready to relaunch with a new web address.

Thanks for the kind words Todd. That was a fun show for us with Stan Brown sitting in on banjo. We actually didn't get a chance to rehearse any with him other that just setting some tempos before the show. We were just getting into it really good when it was time to move on to the next band. We are currently looking for a good banjo player and a mandolin player. I need someone capable of singing baritone. If you know of anyone available that would fit with what we are doing please pass along their name to me. Do you ever go to the jam at Curtis Coble's on Friday nights?

Curtis Coble hosts a jam every Friday night at his shop. From Liberty go to Staley and continue towards Capt. Tom's Seafood. About 1 mile before Capt. Tom's is a paved road on the right, Langley Road. Turn right onto Langley Rd and proceed about 1 mile. Shop is on the left. Watch for signs along the way. They get started about 7pm. It is a fairly slow paced jam until the older players fade out about 8:30 or so. Great jam to work on your backup.
