"Wow, this sounds very familiar to me. My problem, I think, is I have too many toys and not enough time to play with all of them. I have had several guitars for years, in addition to ukuleles and mandolins, so I lose focus going from one toy to…"
I have an older version of BIAB and also use it to practice with. I don't know much about it yet, but all I do is plug in the chords and play my mandolin along with it. It feels better than playing to a metronome beat to me. I have…"
"Hi Todd! Thanks for adding me as your friend. I am really enjoying this group thing on FE1. I try to read all of the comments and, then take and try what others are doing to see if it helps me. I am going to look for the Jeff Troxel's book you…"
"I have been working on Red Haired Boy, Soldier's Joy, 8th of January, Over the Waterfall, and Golden Slippers on both my guitar and mandolin. I am trying to learn both the melody and the accompaniment parts."
"I can read music, but my task at the moment is learning where the notes are located on the fretboard. I know the first position pretty well, but when I move up the fretboard, I have to think a lot more and alot longer. I try to stay away from teh…"

I have also found much of Adam Granger's work suits my DGBE tuning.I once took a class from Dan Miller in Palo Alto, California and he told me that his daughter was playing the baritone uke. I have e-mailed Adam about his new FGM…See More
"I have a left handed Blue Chip TAD 3R 40 pick and I find it a great pick to use, no scraping and quick on the strings. The only problem is that the tone is quite bass-y which is great for lead picking or Mandolin but not so good for rhythm…"
