Cats

Cats

Cats

Slinky, furry, bundles of curiosity

Cat’s

Counter jumping, face licking, purring, fur factories.

Cat’s

Funny eye’s, elegant, quietly independent

Cats

Sun Sitting, “I choose to be here and don’t need to be here”

Cat’s.

What would I do without my cat?

I’d go on.

Moving in a generally good direction the whole time, and the color’s of live would be vibrant again someday. I have to admit to you though my cat is my… Continue

Remembered not forgotten

Here’s a funny story...more of a giggle “Ha!” than a laugh factory, but it’s still a worthy tale none the less. Not to mention it’s all true, every bit of it I know. I was there.

When I was young and found out that my grandfather was in WWII I asked him what he did. He told me that he was a flier in the Pacific theatre, but he never wanted to elaborate. Told me that those things were best forgotten, and that Grandma’d have his hide if he told me.

What was I going to say?… Continue

A Bus Ride

A giant of an individual once shared a seat on the bus with me. We

sat

in silence and watched the road pass by. I had the aisle seat. I have

forgotten where I was going now yet I distinctly remember the smell of

the bus, the bag lady sitting next to us, and the colors of the city I

was in.

The person who was sitting next to me had brown eyes and

hair. They seemed to be of working class origins I noticed the roughness

of the hand that shook mine. It… Continue

Winter & Spring

Listen!

I think you will hear me if you push the 'listen' part.

Lately I've found myself almost obsessed with Honey Bee's. I mean I wrote a song called The Honey Bee Way,I hear other songs about them, see them in stores, and hear other folks talking

about them. Bee's!!! I love them. I think what's really happening is that I'm getting over-anxious for Winter to finally finish and Spring to get going.

I live in Minnesota Winter is really Winter here it was a… Continue

Minimizing

Howdy Folks

I think it's been last year since I wrote anything. Okay I know

that's a bad joke. You might even say it's old as the hills. I

have a friend that lives in the desert. He's always trying to

convince me to go out and visit. That I'd love it and I think

he's right. I'd love to go and visit him; although,

I must admit to a little fear.

What's the fear about? Not coming back of course I've been

in the mood to move lately.

Big… Continue

Trevor,

Thanks for joining the flatpicking network. I'll be adding more music, videos, and photos as time goes by. If there is anything in particular that you'd like to see, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks,

Dan

I saw in one of the forums that you play a Taylor 210e. I've been thinking about getting one, have you had any problems?

Oh you dearheart, YOU! Indeed that is ONE BIG AMETHYST I have there :-) Was made by a sweet lady I actually met on MySpace. It now hangs above my bed, though, as it's a tad heavy! REALLY NICE INVITE, and HAPPY TO BE FRIENDS on this sweet Network!Marguerite
