It was good to see you at kamp. I guess we picked a couple up at Skip and Mikey's. I'm still chuckling over Bill Irwin's gumby song. HA!

Bill,

Good to hear from you. I work straight second shift now at the hospital, so don't get to go out in the evening anymore.

BTW, would you be interested in a bunch of old issues of the flatpicking guitar magazine for free? I have lots of them and they're taking up too much room in my house! Let me know...

Thanks.

Jeff

I'll have to tell my son about you. He is an actor and lives close to you. Here is his website www.emichaelevans.com BTW: He is also a good guitar player. Right now the only gig he is doing is all of the Estban commercials but he digs it.

Bill,

It was great seeing you at Kamp. I'm in love with your grandkids - what sweeties they are! Thanks for the t-shirt... I'm wearing it as I type this, in fact. My wife said it's a lot "cooler" than the official Kamp shirt - how 'bout that?

Regards,

Gary

Thanks for the hospitality, sir; and for that kind offer. Got some family in South Fla., so it's a possibility!

Best,
Dave

Great picture, Bill! It was sure fun to see you again at Kamp. Great looking kids and grandkids... you're surely a proud papa! BTW, your playing and singing has always been top-notch, but your flatpicking is improving... those tune of the months must be paying off! I oughta work on that concept on mandolin.

Steve, my office is across the street from Dusty Strings in Seattle and it turns out they have a D18GE in stock. I had not even noticed it but picked it up. The neck takes some getting used to (or probably for me the bigger adjustment is tied to a 1…

Sorry to get a little off topic :-( I realized it once I clicked the Add Reply button.. I like what you said about being able to afford a 20 Dollar Hygrometer... if you can spend 4 grand on a box.. and you can't spend the little bit of money on the…

So what you are talking about here Jon, is not what I started the thread for( but it IS a nice aside!) You NEED to know what your humidity is at in your house were your axe lives. That is what the Hygrometer is for. There are all kinds of threads ev…

I've never had a gauge that I've used for any of my guitars, but what I have done which only costs a few dollars is to get a travel soap box and a sponge to use as a small humidifier that I keep in my case. It's works really well and fits perfectly…
