ganon replied to Derek's discussion So how do you memorise/internalise a pitch? in the group Ear Learning
"Hi Derek, I have no answer (I'd write a book if I did). But let me suggest something: this is obviously an un- or under-trained hearing problem. So maybe try to isolate the problem - get rid of the guitar (and all the entwined muscle memory)…"

Hi Gannon.
Here is the mp3 for RHB. I am not sure if this will work or not.
I like the stuff you have posted. How did you add the Brad Davis backup with your lead on St. Anne's Reel and record it? Great job on all the tracks. Post some more if you get a chance.

Gannon,
Thanks for WBB that is great can't wait to Jam. Here is my version (excuse the dead notes and low volume). I am playing open D 132bpm.

Here is Ragtime Annie you can try if you have time and get a chance. This is in the key of D (C Pos) 132bpm. This is SK beginner version. Let me know if the volume is too low.

Red Haired Boy Jam.mp3Gannon,
Thanks for the jam track of St. Anne's Reel. That helps out alot I will work on it this week. Here is Forked Deer Key D @132. I picked it up a little on RHB, I think it is around 144bpm.
Let me know how that works out.

I have been using that G to D run for a while now. I picked it up from a Steve Kaufman DVD where he's teaching "Salt Creek". He also has a good F to D7 run in that song. Thanks for the kind words. Any kind of encouragement is a big help especially when somtimes you feel like just giving up. I look forward to hearing what you come back with. Here is Salt Creek with backup. (Key A.... G pos. about 170bpm)

Any Carbon Acoustic Guitar enthusiast here?

My first Carbon was an Adamas.I currently play a Rainsong Dred.I discovered carbon Guitars 2 years ago in a local Guitar store and purchased one within a month.  I played my first RainSong Dred about a year later and bought that one.I watched Scott Nygards reviews on you tube and that kinda got me searching.Anyone else play the fakes?See More
