I'm still trying to learn some Bluegrass tunes. My son and I are working on Sailors Hornpipe at the moment from the Brad Davis Jam series. I'm enjoying my son's interest in guitar and I am teaching him some "tricks of the trade" to speed his development. I hope to attend at least one Bluegrass Festival this year and maybe by the end of the year I can afford a new Takamime. Continue

A few songs to share

Hi anyone, I have posted a version of Blackberry Blossom (arrangement is largely Rick Williams from bluegrassbooksonline.com - check him out, good stuff) which is about half of what I want to play in Wayne Henderson's contest. I'm smoothing out a version were I change to drop D for one more go around.
