Broken Duck!

A couple of weeks ago at the Bluegrass jamming session in Lauries Bar, Glasgow, I stepped forward for the first time and broke my duck. Took my geetar since I had just bought a new swish padded gig-bag and with a view to accompanying myself on some songs since, atm, I cannot play chords on the mandolin and sing at the same time.

Donating a guitar to a needy young, beginning bluegrasser in Nashville.

I am deeply saddened to see the loss that Nashville is seeing in the flood. I feel that music wipes the dirt from the soul in times of need. While I don’t have a very expensive guitar ($180 cort, Dreadnought style

guitar),I keep this as an extra guitar that I keep at work. I’d like to donate

it to a young beginner bluegrasser that may have a guitar too far gone for repair. It’s not much

of a guitar (better than nothing) but I’d love to help someone out in the…
