New Podcast with Bull Harman

We've just posted a new FGM Podcast interview with Bull Harman, the creator of the St. Louis Flatpick Weekend, which will be held in March 2010 in St. Louis. In addition to talking about that weekend, he'll also talk about rhythm and lead playing , and you'll hear his original tune "Bull's Eye".Check it out!

Aaaa shux. Take heed.

So I will be 55 next tuesday.
Last tuesday I learned I had prostate cancer.. last thursday in a consultation and after a lotta googlin , I learned my best option is surgery to remove the darn thing.
We are optomistic .
Bottom line, due to checkups and followups, we have a chance to get beyond this..
The finest health care system in the world cant work unless you give it a chance.. So guys.. get a checkup !

Chuck, the owner of the local Ace Hardware, has made a practice of tapping a great, knowledgeable but inexpensive workforce -- retired old guys.



One day after I had spent about forty minutes getting one of the old guys to cut me 50 feet of 1/16" cable, Chuck approached me in the aisle as I headed toward the checkout. He wanted to know if the service I got from the old guy was OK.

A few more songs to share

Hi friends, I've been gone a long time from the network, but looks like I'll be able to play more nowadays. I had the most fabulous week of instruction in my life when I took Russ Barenberg's Advanced Guitar class at Augusta back in August. He got me unstuck - now I know how to impove. Russ does skype lessons now - I'd encourage you to take advantage.
