So I will be 55 next tuesday.
Last tuesday I learned I had prostate cancer.. last thursday in a consultation and after a lotta googlin , I learned my best option is surgery to remove the darn thing.
We are optomistic .
Bottom line, due to checkups and followups, we have a chance to get beyond this..
The finest health care system in the world cant work unless you give it a chance.. So guys.. get a checkup !

It's Code, Not Cliché

It’s Code, Not Cliché

Chuck, the owner of the local Ace Hardware, has made a practice of tapping a great, knowledgeable but inexpensive workforce -- retired old guys.

One day after I had spent about forty minutes getting one of the old guys to cut me 50 feet of 1/16" cable, Chuck approached me in the aisle as I headed toward the checkout. He wanted to know if the service I got from the old guy was OK.

A few more songs to share

Hi friends, I've been gone a long time from the network, but looks like I'll be able to play more nowadays. Russ does skype lessons now - I'd encourage you to take advantage.

This past year I started pickin' with a new friend, Eugene Ellis from Mebane NC. Fabulous player. I've posted a few very rough recordings… Continue

Norman's Preferences

I saw a video in which Norman discussed why he preferred a certain fret when refretting one of his Martin's. I am about to refret my D-35 Martin, and I would like to know if anyone remembers a video in which Norman discusses his choice over the Frets Martin uses. Thank You.7See More
