Aaaa shux. Take heed.

So I will be 55 next tuesday. Last tuesday I learned I had prostate cancer.. last thursday in a consultation and after a lotta googlin , I learned my best option is surgery to remove the darn thing. We are optomistic . Bottom line, due to checkups and followups, we have a chance to get beyond this.. The finest health care system in the world cant work unless you give it a chance.. So guys.. get a checkup ! Continue

Winfield Report

An incredible weeknd.. The pickin was perfect. I thought Allen had a real good first round.. tops on my scoresheet.. so go figure.. The hilite for me was an early friday morn jam I listened to at the Kessinger Camp.. Robin , Allen, Tyler Grant on mando, a gal with a bass in a tye dyed, matched to Robin t-shirt. for a half hour or so it seemed only me and Marilyn sittin and listenin.. Americana 2010

Finally recovered from American 09, what a great weeknd of music and fun ! Thanks to all who came and supported great guitar music in the midwest. If its not the finest weeknd of Flatpicklin , its rite up there . A New Year

I hope the world becomes a better place in 2009. So much strife, so much misery..makes one want to go write a sad song. On the other hand, we had a baby in the house last night, first time in a way long time. The lil smile on her face this morning gives me hope .. and scares the heck outta me .. its a tuff, changing world she will have to navigate.. but I reckon thats a grandparents place.. take all the hugs and worry ! Might as well !

Since Dan has made it so easy, I decided to write about stuff. No particular stuff, just stuff I felt a need to say. I had mine removed said it was the best thing, no sign of cancer since. I had the robotic thing done they said iwas the best way to go less recovery time and less chance of infection , since then I no longer can performe if you know what I mean an...
