Howdy strangers...
Howdy all. Here I am in the 2nd day of the last 3 days' worth of gigs with the Claire Lynch Band, and I thought I'd take a moment and say hello to y'all. It's been quite a while....
Yep, you have probably heard that I am leaving the CLB and this is my last weekend tour with them. Joining her in my place is Matt Wingate, and I wish him well, as I do Jason Thomas and Mark Schatz. Claire has had many players in her bands over the years, and I have been working for her the longest with the exception being her ex-husband, Larry Lynch - who was a founding member of Hickory Wind later named the Front Porch String Band, then Claire Lynch and the Front Porch String Band. Then after she and Larry took a few years off, she returned without Larry and called it the Claire Lynch Band.
I hope to be able to contribute a little more here now, as after almost 15 years, my schedule is no longer being dedicated to anyone else but me. Feels good for a change.
