Jim Nunally Releases New Rhythm DVD

Our good friend Jim Nunally, is one of the finest bluegrass guitar players in the business (currently performing with John Reischman and the Jaybirds, the David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, and Due West). Jim has just released a new rhythm guitar instructional DVD titled Jim Nunally: The Art of Rhythm Guitar Strums.

I just bought this DVD and it's an excellent primer for anyone who wants to learn how to spiff up their rhythm playing. Jim is one of the tastiest around at this and it shows in the DVD. The explanations are concise and clear and the filming is good. Only thing I would have liked with it would be a tab booklet, which does not come with the DVD, but music appears onscreen at key points and you can freeze frame it. No financial interest, YMMV ...
