I'm officially here in Mars Hill NC ready to teach guitar at Bluegrass Week. Sharing a 4 room dorm room with Wayne Erbsen, Dave Talbot and Jack Lawrence. Had a small jam tonight and talked over old times. Jack knows a lot about early bluegrass because he grew up hanging around a place named The Lake Norman Music Hall where his dad ran the sound system. He saw and got to know everyone in bluegrass and country music. He said his favorite memory of being there was when Jerry Lee Lewis played there. Roland White is also here and we get to hear all of his stories. Should be a great week.
